What materials do your stud finders detect through?
Sheetrock/Drywall
Our stud finders work best through a single layer of sheetrock/drywall.
Lath and Plaster
Many customers have reported success using our advanced stud finders through lath and plaster, however, we would not recommend the ProSensor M10 for use with plaster walls.
Incompatible Surfaces
We do not recommend using our stud finders through stucco, exterior siding, double layers of sheetrock/drywall (common in condos, townhomes and home theaters), tile, wood flooring, carpet or roofing.
