Important Connection Guidelines
1. Magnetic Connector Alignment
Correctly attach the magnetic connector to your Surface device as illustrated.A solid white LED on the connector indicates a successful and proper connection.Please Note: If the connector is reversed, the white LED will not illuminate, and only the charging function will be active.
2. Power Port Indicator Light
White Light On: The docking station is receiving power from the outlet.Green Light On: The dock is properly connected to your Surface and operating normally.White Light On (while connected to Surface): Indicates a potential product issue.
3. Magnetic Head Indicator Light
A solid white light confirms a proper connection to your Surface.If the white light is off, the connector may be reversed or not making full contact.
